Man Famous for Walking to Work, Now Needs to Walk Away

Last week, America met a Detroit man who walked 21 miles of his 23 mile commute, every day, Monday through Friday.

The internet, newspapers and TV news told James Robertson‘s story and it brought out the good in people. Roberston got a new car and over $350,000 in donations.

But, FOX TV stations’ national correspondent Charlie LeDuff, in his “The Americans” series, takes a look at the darker side of what can happen when someone’s story gets “electronified.”
