A Montana man is being accused of threatening to blow up federal courthouses in Missoula and Billings, MT, after telling the Missoula, MT, CBS affiliate about his plans.
According to KPAX, Michael Lewis Andrews was arrested Wednesday in Missoula. The FBI said the investigation is still underway and the threat is being taken seriously.
“A man contacted KPAX News three times on Wednesday morning threatening to bomb the courthouses,” said the station. “We notified authorities, who then launched an investigation.”
The station also said Andrews has a “lengthy criminal record in Flathead and Missoula counties beginning in 1986.”
