A man has been arrested after a five hour standoff with Minneapolis police at the same hotel hosting the National Association of Black Journalists Convention.

KSTP says a SWAT team, along with negotiators, responded to a report of a man who was possibly armed and holed up in the Minneapolis Hilton around 2:30 p.m. yesterday. The incident ended around 8:00 p.m. when the man came out of his room. He was not armed.

The NABJ tweeted about the incident saying no members were affected.
