Max Hess, multi-media journalist for Madison, Wisc. NBC affiliate WMTV, has announced he is leaving the business after less than a year on-air.
“It’s the breaking news look! But tonight, I have some news of my very own,” Hess wrote on his WMTV facebook page. “Working at NBC15 has been a great honor, but it is with mixed emotions that my last day will be Monday, November 3rd.”
He also tweeted out a still from his personal facebook page, “I am extremely excited to say that I’ll be joining the EPIC Creative team in West Bend as a PR Account Executive on December 1, 2014. On top of it all, I’ll be moving back to my beloved Milwaukee.”
Hess started at WMTV in January 2014. His first local TV job was at WTMJ in Milwaukee as an assignment desk editor.
