WISN 12 General Assignment Reporter Marianne Lyles will assume anchoring duties for the weekend edition of “12 News This Morning” on Saturday, June 19.
Lyles joins Meteorologist Lyra O’Brien on the anchor desk of Milwaukee’s No. 1 weekend newscast, Saturdays and Sundays from 5 to 9 a.m., and will continue to report the news during the week. She takes over for Jason Newton, who will begin anchoring the evening news this weekend with the retirement of Mike Miller.

Lyles worked as a weekend anchor/reporter for WFIE-TV in Evansville, Ind., before coming to WISN in October 2008. More…
