Lucy Noland and Robert Kovacik are taking on new roles at KNBC, TVSpy has learned.

Noland, who joined the NBC owned station in Los Angeles in 2011, is no longer anchoring the 6 p.m. newscast. She will be replaced by Colleen Williams, who anchors the 5 and 11 p.m. newscasts.

KNBC spokesperson Terri Hernandez Rosales told TVSpy Nolan will continue to anchor the midday newscast. Speculation about the 6 p.m. anchor changes was first reported by FTVLive.

Weekend evening anchor Robert Kovacik is also getting a new role at the station. He will step away from the anchor desk to be a reporter for the 11 p.m. newscast.

“Robert Kovacik is a valuable member of the NBC4 news team, and one of the best reporters in Los Angeles. Just this year, he was honored by the Los Angeles Press Club as Journalist of the year because of the trust and respect he’s earned from our audience,” Hernandez Rosales said. “It’s that type of reporting we want bring to our viewers at the 11PM newscast Monday-Friday.”
