LuAnne Sorrell will join WOFL this summer as anchor of the morning newscast, a spokesperson for the Orlando Fox O&O confirmed to TVSpy.
Sorrell joins WOFL from WSVN, the Fox-affiliate in Miami, where she is the weekend morning anchor. She will co-anchor the 4:30 to 6 a.m. newscast and contribute to the 9 a.m. newscast. Sorrell replaces Heidi Hatch, who left WOFL last year.
Sorrell has previously worked at KLAS in Las Vegas and KEYC in Mankato, MN. She will start at WOFL in July.
