Louisiana Sports Director Adds News Anchor to His Duties

KTVE-KARD sports director Chris Demirdjian will be the new evening news anchor for West Monroe, La. NBC affiliate KTVE.

Demirdjian will join Christina Jensen as co-anchor of the 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts in early October. He will stay on as sports director for KTVE and its sister station, Fox affiliate KARD.

“It is such an honor to be given this opportunity,” said Demirdjian. “I love working here at KTVE and I am excited to anchor with Christina. I look forward to the new opportunities that come with this position.”

He has been with the Fox and NBC affiliate since 2015, when he joined as a sports reporter.
