Lora Lesage has been promoted to senior vice president of digital media at the NBC owned stations. In her new role, she will oversee editorial and special content responsibilities for the websites, mobile apps and social platforms of the 10 NBC O&Os.
In her two years as vice president of digital media, Lesage oversaw a redesign of the station websites, as well as the development and execution of the stations’ mobile products. In her new role, she will continue to manage product development as well as advertising and business operations for the digital properties.
“Lora is a strong leader with a perfect balance of journalism, digital and business experience and a record of success,” Valari Staab, president of the NBC O&Os, said in a statement. “I am confident she will continue our commitment to deliver our audiences the latest local news and information whenever and wherever they want it over the most innovative and reliable platforms.”
