There’s always something odd that happens during a big storm, if its not a person in a Yeti costume walking around Boston, it’s two ponies out for a walk in the snow.
New York Spectrum News covered one of Mayor de Blasio’s press conferences where a reporter asked about two ponies seen around Staten Island. NYPD Chief Terence A. Monahan told the reporter the two escaped from a stable. A cop saw them, tied them up and got them back to their stable.
NY1 reporter Amanda Farinacci was the first to spot them.

“They are in great shape,” said Chief Monahan.
