Longtime WISN Investigative Reporter Retires

Longtime investigative reporter Colleen Henry has traded chasing bad guys for more time with her family.

The broadcaster retired from WISN, the ABC affiliate in Milwaukee, on Friday. Her husband, local attorney Steve Kohn, had been battling cancer. In March, he had his lung removed.

Now that Kohn—who retired from the law—has a clean bill of health, he and Henry will head to Mexico and start retired life.

“I thought work was therapeutic,” she said. “It’s an overwhelming thing, someone you love might be dead soon. Your whole world is upended.”

Henry arrived at WISN 25 years ago. The station put together a tribute video highlighting the 58-year-old’s best stories over the years.
