Longtime chief meteorologist, Dave Dahl, is celebrating 40 years at KSTP this summer.
And the Hubbard Broadcasting-owned ABC affiliate in Minneapolis is starting the celebrating now.
“Think being a meteorologist is easy?” is the first track in a story posted on Facebook about Dahl’s days forecasting the weather and getting involved in the community.

The station is asking viewers to share their “best Dave story or favorite memory from over the years” as they gear up for his anniversary on July 29.
In 2012, TVSpy told you when Dahl invited cameras into the operating room as he underwent surgery to remove skin cancer spots on his chest.
The story, posted on April 10, has 34,000 views.
