Longtime KOLR assignment editor and managing editor of Ozarksfirst.com Karen Libby has died after a long battle with cancer.
Libby had been at the station for 22 years and was working up until Friday.
Missouri Governor Mike Parson posted about Libby’s passing, saying “our prayers of comfort and condolences go out to the family members, friends, and associates of Karen Libby, managing editor of KOLR10 news in Springfield.”

She died on Sunday morning.
