After 50 years in TV news, WLUK anchor Tom Milbourn has anchored his last show in Green Bay, Wisc.

The seasoned anchor spent the last 25 years at the Fox affiliate. Prior to that, he worked at four stations and started in Madison, Wisc.

Before his last show, Milbourn sat down with anchor Mike Murad and gave advice to the next generation of journalists.

“Be as independent as you can be. It’s a challenge. We all have our opinions. We all have our beliefs. Do the best job you can at leaving them at the door,” says Milbourn.

His final newscast was on Tuesday.
