WLWT‘s longtime general sales manager Mark Diangelo is retiring later this year, capping a long career in broadcasting.

He started his career at the Cincinatti station in 1998.

“Mark is an outstanding and skilled leader who has delivered record levels of performance during his 21 years at WLWT, leading our sales team to new heights in both television and digital revenue,” said Branden Frantz, WLWT president and general manager.

“Over the past 21 years, I have been blessed to work with some of the most talented people in the industry,” said Diangelo. “From our Hearst Television Corporate staff, to my peers within the company, to our team at WLWT, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity, support, and encouragement that I have received over the years. I am excited about the future of WLWT and wish all my colleagues continued success.”

Prior to his time at the station, Diangelo spent 20 years in broadcasting sales.
