Little Rock reporter and fill-in anchor Elisabeth Armstrong is leaving Arkansas for a job in Tennessee.
According to Arkansas online, the KATV reporter made the announcement on Twitter. Her last day at the Sinclair owned ABC affiliate was last week. She’s joining WZTV, the Fox affiliate, in Nashville.
“Feeling thankful and blessed for the last year and a half,” she wrote.
Armstrong was at KATV for less than two years. News Director, Nick Gentry, tweeted about Armstrong saying she’s a “greg reporter, anchor and journalist.”
A former intern, Armstrong returned to the station in 2016. Prior to that she worked as a morning anchor at KETK-TV in Tyler, Texas.
