Lisa Villegas has been named morning meteorologist for KTVT.
Villegas comes to the CBS owned station from Rio Grande Valley ABC affiliate KRGV.
She wrote on her facebook page, “You are looking at the newest MORNING METEOROLOGIST for KTVT – CBS Channel 11 in Dallas/Fort Worth!!!!!! I’ll be a part of a NEW weekend morning show and will add as a second morning meteorologist during the work week.”

Dallas media blogger Ed Bark, who first reported the move said “Villegas’ arrival means that CBS11 no longer will be the only D-FW station without a woman on their weather team. NBC5 has three while Fox4 and Gannett8 each have two.”
