Lena Pringle Joins WISH in Indianapolis as Morning Co-Anchor

Lena Pringle has joined Indianapolis station WISH as a co-anchor of the morning newscast.

Pringle last worked as a morning show anchor and reporter in Jacksonville, Fla. She worked at WACH in Columbia, S.C., before that.

“I enjoy having people be able to tell their stories,” Pringle told the Indianapolis Star. “And because also, I know what it’s like to go for a good portion of your life without a voice or without being heard.”

“Lena will be active in community events and will continue to serve as a mentor and public speaker,” said news director Al Carl. “Her passion for local involvement fits in perfectly with WISH-TV’s Focus on Family and Community.”

“I think it is important to get involved in your community,” said Pringle. “I can’t wait to bring my southern charm and energy to the Crossroads of America!”
