Legendary Boston reporter Jorge Quiroga is leaving WCVB on a high note.

Last night, Quiroga was included into The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the prestigious Silver Circle. The Silver Circle honors individuals with 25 years of more service to the industry.

“Jorge is an incredibly talented and well-respected reporter who has made countless contributions to Channel 5 and the community throughout his years as part of the WCVB family,” said Bill Fine, WCVB president and general manager. “This Silver Circle honor is extremely well deserved and is a wonderful recognition of Jorge’s many years of excellence in the television industry.”
