KSWO meteorologist Mandy Bailey has been fired over her Monday morning brain teaser that some, including her station, found to be racist and offensive.
Bailey wrote out the word “THERE” on a white board with a noose hanging from the “T.” The correct answer to the puzzle was, “Hang In There.” But that teaser was too much for some viewers, who complained it was racist and insensitive towards those who have died by suicide.
The Gray-owned station in Lawton, Okla., agreed, and fired Bailey for her actions.
