Laura Lee is leaving Rochester, Minn., ABC affiliate KAAL after 13 years.
Lee joined the station in 2010 after working in production at KSTP in Minneapolis. She is leaving the station at the end of April.
She announced the news on social media saying that “sometimes, in life it’s all about timing. And the time has come for a new adventure.”
“I am tearing up writing this because no matter what memories I have, it’s the people that make every memory, special,” she said. “The laughter, the tears, the love….oh the love. You have all embraced my kids and I with the biggest most loving hug, and I will cherish every moment. To all of my friends and colleagues, old and new, ugh, I’m crying again. I will miss you all, but I know you will stay in my life.”
She also said she will be announcing her plans for the future in the coming weeks.
