Las Vegas Traffic Anchor Plays His Flute On-Air Again, to Bring Christmas Cheer

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

Nine months after he gave an impromptu flute concert on-air when the pandemic halted Las Vegas traffic, KLAS traffic anchor Nate Tannenbaum decided it was time for another performance.

Today, on Christmas Eve, the trained flutist played two Christmas songs: “Angels We Have Heard On High” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”

Tannenbaum said it gives him a good feeling to help lift people’s spirits—especially in this most difficult year.
