Las Vegas CBS affiliate KLAS is launching Politics NOW, a weekly political show.

Politics NOW starts Sunday, Oct. 11 and will be hosted by Steve Sebelius (pictured right) and Patrick Walker (left).

“I’m very much looking forward to co-hosting ‘Politics NOW’,” said Sebelius. “More than ever, it’s important that journalists ask the questions that address real problems affecting real people in our city and across the country.”

Sebelius is the political columnist for the Las Vegas Review-Journal and has worked at KLAS as the station’s chief political analyst since January 2010. Walker is a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor who has worked at KLAS since December 2014.

“KLAS TV 8 is extremely proud to be launching ‘Politics NOW’,” said KLAS vp and gm Lisa Howfield. “Steve and Patrick, bring great knowledge, extensive experience and high energy to covering politics, along with award-winning producer, Ian Russell. This dedicated team of professionals will keep our community in the know at a time when it is needed most – now.”
