Las Vegas Anchor: Battling Covid-19 Is ‘Like Wrestling With an Alligator in a Pond’

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

Las Vegas anchor Reed Cowan is fighting Covid-19, and it hasn’t been pretty.

The KSNV anchor said on Dec. 12 that he would be staying home after receiving a positive diagnosis during a scheduled staycation. This week, told his followers this week that his symptoms have been unpleasant.

“Covid has been like wrestling with an alligator in a pond,” Cowan wrote on Dec. 14. “It binds you. Twists you. Takes you under. Then you surface, only to go under again. I’m on day 6/can’t wait for it to leave my body. If you have it, you are in my prayers. That anyone would call it a hoax makes me nuts.”
