Dorothy Lucey, former co-anchor of the KTTV morning show “Good Day LA”, offers a surprisingly candid look at why she thinks she was let go from the Los Angeles FOX affiliate.
So many of you have asked what happened. Well it did involve blood. After 17 blissful (well mostly blissful…but that’s another blog) years at Good Day LA I got a new boss. He said I made his eyes bleed. Not the crusty yucky pink eye. New guy was saying when I spoke it made his eyes bleed. I have read that can happen after you vomit. Now I could almost see my husband saying something like that to me…after all we are married. But from a new boss…
Lucey left the station four months ago after co-anchoring the FOX morning newscast, along with Steve Edwards and Jillian Reynolds, since 1995.
