Don Bell, a former weekend anchor at CBS-owned KYW in Philadelphia, will return to the station this month as primary sports anchor, replacing Beasley Reece.
“I miss how this town lives and dies with every big victory or crushing defeat,” Bell said in a statement. “You can learn a lot of things in life, but you can’t teach passion. Philly overflows with it.”
Bell arrives at KYW from Fox Sports 1, where he anchored and hosted a national radio show.

In June, new management announced three major departures: Chris May, Kathy Orr and Reece.
