KXAS Interviews Caroline Gonzalez, the 11-Year-Old Mayor Who Renamed Main Street Justin Bieber Way

Eleven-year-old Caroline Gonzalez, who won a contest to be mayor of Forney, TX for a day, was surprised that the city actually went through with her motion to rename Main Street as Justin Bieber Way.

“Did you think they were really going to do that?” KXAS reporter Kim Fischer asked Gonzalez when the real mayor of Forney unveiled a Justin Bieber Way street sign.

She replied, “No, not really” (video above).

Gonzalez’s 24-hour tenure as mayor–and her love of Justin Bieber–was also covered by KDAF and KTVT.
