Lakeway police officers about 11 p.m. Friday arrested David Michael Torbi, who goes by David Scott anchoring KXAN’s weekend nightcasts, after finding Torbi’s car stuck in a drainage ditch near the 500 block of Lakeway Drive.
Police said the 56-year-old Torbi, right, smelled of alcohol, was uncooperative and used profanity when he was approached, according to the arrest affidavit. An open container containing a mixed drink was present in the car, the affidavit said. The affidavit also states that Torbi admitted to having too much to drink.
