By Kevin Eck

On his way to work this morning, KWTV reporter Rusty Surette did what any reporter would do after spotting flames coming from a house.  He called for help, made sure no one was in danger, then pulled out his cell phone and started shooting video for his report.  You can watch his live report on the story after the jump.

According to the station’s website, “Rusty called 911, and police were on the scene within 90 seconds. Firefighters arrived moments later and began battling the flames. Rusty pulled out his cell phone and began recording video after crews arrived.

The fire, near the Oklahoma City CBS affiliate’s studios, was quickly put out.  Watch Surette’s report inside.
