KVUE‘s news director Tim Ryan is being promoted within the Tegna family.
Ryan, who came to Austin, Texas from KUSA in Denver, Colo., will head back to the station where he worked for more than 20 years to be the director of content.
“We will miss Tim’s genuine care for his team, his integrity and of course his colorful collection of shirts,” said KVUE general manager Kristie Gonzales.

Ryan replaces Eric Valdez, who took a corporate role at Tegna as content director.
