Austin ABC affiliate KVUE has named Albert Ramon as its chief meteorologist.

He’s been the station’s morning meteorologist since 2010 and according to austin360’s Gary Dinges, he’s been filling in as chief for the last six months.

Ramon replaces Mark Murray who took a TEGNA buyout in April.
