Veteran anchor Anna Laurel is joining KUSI in San Diego as the station’s newest evening anchor.
“A distinguished journalist with a long record of success across the country, San Diegans will enjoy getting to experience the wonderful blend of style, knowledge and integrity she’ll bring to the market,” said news director Steve Cohen.
Laurel has worked at KMPH in Fresno, Calif.; WTVD in Raleigh, N.C.; and KPNX in Phoenix.

“I’m thrilled to be back in California,” said Laurel. “I care about the communities where I live, and look forward to exploring the vibrant culture and people of this great city and county.”
Laurel will join the evening news team on Sept. 10.
