KUSA news director Christy Moreno has accepted the president-general manager position at WHAS, the Tegna station in Louisville, KY.
Moreno will replace Linda Danna who is stepping down to spend more time with her family.
“Christy is a proven leader with unparalleled experience and a growth mindset. She knows what winning looks like, having run dominant newsrooms in both Denver and Knoxville,” said Lynn Beall, executive vice president and chief operating officer, media operations of Tegna.

Moreno has been the news director at KUSA since 2015. Prior to that, she was the news director at WBIR in Knoxville and assistant news director at KENS in San Antonio.
