KUSA Morning Anchor Exits Station After Five Years

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

KUSA’s morning anchor Christine Noel is leaving Denver for an opportunity in Houston, Texas, at KPRC.

After five years, her last day at the Tegna-owned station will be Dec. 28.

“Over the past five years, I have worked alongside some of the best journalists and kindest people I’ve ever come across. Being a part of this 9NEWS family has meant more to me that I can express in words, and living in Colorado has been nothing short of an epic adventure,” Noel said in a goodbye note to viewers.

“Christine has done a wonderful job here at 9NEWS and while we are sorry to see her leaving we are very happy to see her growing her career in such a meaningful way, said Mark Cornetta, executive vice president of Tegna and president and general manager of KUSA. “She will always be a part of the 9NEWS family and we wish her the best.”

Prior to her time in Colorado, Noel worked in Charlotte, N.C., and Grand Rapids, Mich.
