KTVU reporter Alex Savidge had a close call this morning.
Savidge was live on the San Francisco Bay Area Fox-owned station when he was nearly hit by a car that had hit another car. He was doing a report about a train derailment.
Viewers couldn’t see what happened since the story was in video at the time, but they could hear the sound of the crash along with someone saying some choice words. The crash was quickly followed by a voice saying Savidge was OK.

He says his photographer yelled at him to get out of the way. You can watch him talk about it about 15 minutes after it happened on Facebook below.
