Candice Nguyen has been hired by Oakland Fox-owned station KTVU as an investigative reporter.
“It’s been 10 years since I’ve been home, but it was worth the wait,” said Nguyen. “Being back to report on a community as smart and culturally rich as the Bay Area is beyond an honor. I’m excited to join the KTVU Fox 2 News team.”
Nguyen, an Oakland and Union City native, first worked at KION in Salinas, Calif. before moving to XETV and then KNSD in San Diego.

She starts Tuesday, February 7.
