Larry Mowry, chief meteorologist at CBS-owned Dallas station KTVT, is just a regular guy. A regular guy with a megawatt smile and big dose of country charm.
In a slick new promo, which debuted on the Friday before the Country Music Awards, Mowry high-fives his adorable daughter, nuzzles a cute dog, does a steering wheel drum solo, poses for a selfie with a fan, and even teaches kids how the weather works.

The promo, titled “Gotta Listen to Larry!” has a super-catchy Johnny Cash-esque tune and really sells Mowry’s relatability.
