KTVT‘s longtime assistant news director has been promoted to the CBS station’s vice president and news director.
Laurie Passman succeeds Andrea Parquet-Taylor, who was promoted this July to vice president and station manager of KTVT-KTXA.
“Laurie is a seasoned professional who has demonstrated excellent news judgment and management skills,” said Gary Schneider, president and general manager of KTVT. “She is an invaluable member of our team, and we’re excited for her to take on this new role.”

Passman has been the station assistant news director since August 2015.
Prior to joining KTVT, Passman was assistant news director at KTVK in Phoenix. She also previously served as news director at KOB in Albuquerque.
