KTVT, the CBS-owned station in Dallas, has announced two new additions to its news team: Laurie Passman as assistant news director and CJ Hoyt as managing editor.
News director Mike Garber confirmed the new hires with TVSpy this morning.
Passman joins KTVT from KTVK, the independent station in Phoenix, where she was interim news director. Hoyt comes from WTOL in Toledo, Ohio, where he was news director.

Passman begins her new gig August 31, while Hoyt officially joins the team August 17.
