KTTV reporter Lauren Sivan says she was demoted after she went on national television accusing Harvey Weinstein of sexual misconduct.
“I just felt like the station that I put my heart and soul into for seven years just used it as an excuse to get rid of me,” Sivan said in an interview with The Wrap.
The longtime broadcaster said she was working three shifts weekly until nine months ago. Since then, she’s only worked six shifts and was last on the air in February.

Neither a spokesman for KTTV nor news director Kris Knutsen responded to the publication’s repeated request for comment.
Sivan currently hosts a radio show on KABC and is the host of a crime show on Oxygen.
