KTTV GM Kevin Hale to Retire

TVSpy is hearing Kevin Hale, GM of FOX owned station KTTV is set to retire.

Sources say Hale announced the news to the station last week. Official word is expected soon.

>UPDATE: Jack Abernethy, FOX Television Stations CEO released a statement saying, “Kevin is a hard-working, dedicated and talented leader who shows up every day with boundless energy and enthusiasm. He has been a loyal employee who has risen to every challenge presented to him in his nearly 20-year tenure, filled with countless achievements. We want to thank him for his dedication to FTS and he will be truly missed.”

Hale had worked for FOX TV Stations for 18 years. Before coming to KTTV in 2004, he was GM of FOX’s Phoenix station KSAZ. He had also worked as GM at former FOX owned Memphis station WHBQ.
