A KTTV crew was heading to a story when another one ran right in front of them.
Gigi Graciette told Steve Edwards she and photographer Tony Butitta had to slam on the brakes after three guys ran in front of their news van while they were passing “Duke’s” on the Pacific Coast Highway. The three had allegedly just robbed the restaurant and were making their getaway.
The KTTV crew gave chase and relayed a description of the getaway vehicle to LA County Sheriff’s Deputies, who caught the alleged crooks, along with the getaway driver.
