Using the Infamous Shake Weight, KTLA Morning Team Proves It’s Never Too Early for Sex Jokes

In an apparent effort to rid the world of future Shake Weight jokes by cramming as many as possible into its morning newscast, KTLA ran two segments about the new-ish fitness device last Friday, reveling in the suggestive motion that the motorized barbell makes.

With the 6 o’clock hour’s second segment, the crew’s jokes became more and more bawdy. At one point, weathercaster Mark Kriski asked reporter Allie MacKay, “I’ve got a small, white one, does that make a difference?” Without missing a beat, MacKay shot back, “I don’t think it’s the size of it, it’s actually the technique” (video above).

While Chris Schauble, who recently joined KTLA, enthusiastically used a Shake Weight at the anchor desk, his co-anchor Megan Henderson couldn’t be coaxed into making the device’s up-and-down motion, predicting (correctly) that the segments would quickly land them on YouTube. First segment inside…
