Phil Buck is joining Little Rock CBS affiliate KTHV as the weekend anchor and reporter.
Buck comes to KTHV from Missoula, MT, CBS affiliate KPAX where he anchored “Montana This Morning.”
“While at KPAX, he had the opportunity to cover everything from breaking news with wildfires in Glacier National Park to investigative reports ranging from exposing Montana’s DUI culture to the challenges of daycare regulation and oversight,” said KTHV news director Dave Parker. “Phil’s experience is a welcome addition to our team.”
Buck started his career with KAJ in Kalispell, MT, in 2003. He’s also worked at KIRO in Seattle as a sports producer in between working for KPAX starting in June 2005.
“I’m excited to join the THV 11 News Team,” said Buck in a statement. “I’ve been able to watch THV 11 News over the internet and really like the newscasts and the mobile and digital products available to the viewers and web users. This is a station that really connects with the community and I can’t wait to start experiencing Arkansas for myself.”
