Lockwood Broadcast Group announced that Craig Marrs has been named general manager of its NBC affiliate KTEN Sherman, Texas-Ada, Okla. (DMA 161). Marrs will also be responsible for oversight of the CW Texoma, the digital CW station in the market. The announcement was made by Gerald Walsh, Vice President of Broadcast Operations for Lockwood Broadcast Group.
From 2008 to 2009, Marrs worked for both SmithGeiger and Crawford, Johnson & Northcott, research and consultation businesses offering solutions in differing parts of the television and new media space. From 2006 to 2008, he was the president-GM of WHNT Huntsville, Ala. More…
