Kelly McMackin has been named general sales manager at KSWB, the Tribune-owned Fox affiliate in San Diego. McMackin begins in his new role May 5.
“Kelly is a strong leader with a proven track record of driving sales growth and an understanding of the competitive landscape. I’m confident with his oversight, FOX 5 will continue to grow and expand our sales offerings,” KSWB president and general manager Don Corsini said in a statement.
It is a return to KSWB for McMackin, who worked as the station’s general sales manager from 1996-2001. Most recently, he has been the director of business development at Cox Communications.
