Minneapolis ABC affiliate KSTP found a knife and a note outside the building last week.
Pioneer Press reports the station called police after a staffer “reported an unknown suspect has been leaving items and notes on the property that could be viewed as a threat, including a handwritten note and large kitchen knife.”
The knife, a note that said, “I’m going to the kitchen and coming back with a knife,” and empty bottles of Hershey chocolate syrup were left on front steps outside the building, said Sgt. Paul Paulos, a St. Paul police spokesman. It occurred between 1 and 6 a.m. Thursday, according to the report.
Other items have been left outside the station in the past, but police didn’t know if they were connected, Paulos said.
