Craig Cheatham has left Minneapolis ABC affiliate KSTP.
Cheatham was an investigative reporter at St. Louis CBS affiliate KMOV before moving to KSTP to work as assistant news director in August.
“It just didn’t work out,” Cheatham told The St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “I have no ill will toward them, and I don’t think they have any ill will toward me. I’m glad they took a chance on me.”

He had worked at KMOV for 16 years before making the move into management.
