KSHB Forms First Husband Wife Anchor Team in Market

When Rhiannon Ally joins Kansas City NBC affiliate KSHB as evening co-anchor, she’ll sit next to a familiar face, her husband.

Ally, who last worked at Miami’s WFOR, joins husband Mike Marusarz at 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. The stations says Christa Dubill will anchor the 4:00 p.m. with Justin Wilfon.

“I’ve been fortunate to have some amazing experiences around the country,” said Ally. “Now, as we grow our family, I’m excited to experience Kansas City, our hometown, as a mother — with many of our family and friends nearby.”

Before working at WFOR, Ally worked at WCBS in New York. She’s also worked at KCTV in Kansas City and WIBW in Topeka, Kansas.
