Stephanie Hirata has been named weekend anchor for Jefferson City, Mo. CBS affiliate KRCG.
Hirata comes to KRCG from WDAZ in Grand Forks, N.D.
Stephanie was born in Queens, New York, raised in West Orange, New Jersey and graduated with a degree in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach.
During college, she interned at the London 2012 Summer Olympics with NBC and the ‘New Day’ morning show with CNN in New York, where she also became a freelance production assistant after graduating.
The station says she starts in May.
